Before Mikey Madison was an Oscar-winning actor, she was a horse girl. Her grandmother rode, her mother still does and as deeply as she loved riding, it was an isolating sport. She recognized acting as something that could shake her loose a bit and allow her to “play all different kinds of wild characters, or try on all these different kinds of personalities.”
